What are Blockland IDs? - How do you lower your blockland ID?

I didn't really think much of BL_IDs, but I started wondering... What do these numbers mean?

The higher the number, the later on you joined the game. There's no way to lower the ID that your player currently has.

Because you can change your blockland name as many times as you want, you have a BLID that never changes.

It's like an identification. Say a person buys a key, then they are given an ID for example 51051 (which is mine), it means that they are the 51051st player to buy a key, I think.

ID's start at 100 (except badspot who is 0) and I think Rotondo is 1
Other than that, ID's like 420, 666, 1000, 10000 etc. are reserved and not available for retail purchase.

It's usually the other way around from my experience.

Why do people hate on people with high IDs?

People use IDs as a scale of idiocy relative to their own ID.
If someone has a lower ID, they're pro.
If someone has the same ID as you, they're chuck norris.
If someone has a higher ID than you, they're noobs.

However, this system has problems:
There are / were sites that sold 2k IDs.
There are many awesome people with high IDs as there are many handicaps with low IDs.
