Should I host an Air Race?

About

 I was maybe thinking I should host something new, that nobody has really tried before, I was maybe thinking of hosting an air race with guns? People spawn on an aircraft carrier then choose their aircraft, after that they take-off and race other players.
 If so I need builders/Eventers.

I would add a ton of stuff along with weapons, I would have various kinds of aircraft etc. but what I really need most is builders/eventers.

This isn't a new idea.  About two years ago there was an air race that was quite popular.

I'd be very willing to help out.  Only problem is, I can't build boats to save my life.  I can help with some of the eventing though.
