i still dont understand why the lord of the ring movies were made first.
this isnt a star wars issue where 1 story line was favored by investors. the hobbit was already popular as forget lol.

The hobbit is a prequel to The Lord of the rings but idk

Yah, I think they got the rights to the appendixes in the books, so the last one will be based off of those.
