The problem is, many special needs kids are treated all the same. It shoudn't be like that, since each case is different than others. Some may be higher functioning than others, and some may be so behind - that a 3 year old can be compared to the person. I've met many outrageous special needs kids, and only a few good ones, I'll admit. People have to realize though in the education system that there are major distinctions and differences between a psychological/mental disability, and a nuerological/physical disability.
