Author Topic: Random Blockland Crashing  (Read 1249 times)

NOTE: I've posted 2 topics about this, and no help whatsoever.

ISSUE
Blockland crashes when starting a server. I ran several checks, and it all comes down to some random add-on crashing Blockland according to a console log trace, but then, once that one is disabled, another is chosen. I suspected Slayer, RTB, and AmmoGuns (support for add-ons), but, when they all were removed, Blockland still crashed. Choosing only default add-ons fixes the issue. Again, RTB, Slayer, and any other add-ons that appear in the console log are NOT the issue and have been tested.

WHAT I TRIED
-Reinstalling Blockland
-Disabling "broken" add-ons.
-Removing "broken" add-ons.

I mean, it HAS to have something with RTB, when I remove it from add-ons, I am able to start a server just fine.

And...Now it's giving me a run time error. Wtf?

I hate when people just ignore topics like this. Will somebody at least TRY to help?

Although I do not know much about these issues, I will bump this for you.

Bump.

Have You tried reinstalling RTB? I don't mean copying the RTB zip somewhere, reinstalling Blockland and copying it back, but throwing RTB zip in trash can, redownloading and copying the redownloaded RTB zip to Add-Ons folder.

Yes. (Please read OP)

Can you post a log without trace, please? There's too much info in those logs to look through.

Try to run dedicated server (C:\Program Files (x86)\Blockland\BlocklandLauncher.exe -dedicated or C:\Program Files\Blockland\BlocklandLauncher.exe -dedicated), with the same add-ons and whatever else that would lead Your Blockland to crash, will dedicated server also crash?

Yes, then I will do Kik's request.

BTW, for more console logs, visit this topic from before: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=245336.15

Console (Remember, it is a different add-on every time!)

Things to note: Removing RTB completely fixes the issue.

As for Kikanek, no, actually, it did not crash.

Good. Make some folder on desktop or somewhere and move all the Add-Ons with Client prefix there. It might be that some client ($*#@ errors out along with RTB, and so on is causing this. By move, i mean cut and paste, not copy and paste.
