Author Topic: Razer Orbweaver broke.  (Read 2132 times)

So I bought a Razer Orbweaver gamepad July of this year. A few minutes ago, the "S" key broke off, revealing the Cherry Blue switch. It goes back on and works, but wobbles around. I sent a request to Razer, basically asking "what do?". I don't have the box, so I don't have the RMA number. Is there any other way to get the RMA number, or does the company really expect you to save the box for a year until the warranty's up.

get some hot glue and stick it back on

Yeah, let me just pour some glue into a moving mechanism.

Sorry for potato webcam pics.

hes known for stupidity
just ignore him

The pieces are smaller than a pin head, and they have to fit perfectly with no excess glue for it to function normally. Also, I don't even have a hot glue gun.

yeah have fun doing that with mechanical switches

Whos to say I haven't?

Pics or it didn't happen.
Don't have it, it was lost during the last 5 moves.

The best suggestion would be to get superglue and get creative.

Superglue is very thin so you won't have to worry about excess if you use it sparingly.
