Author Topic: Lava harmless?  (Read 1067 times)

I go in lava on my server and it doesn't kill me. The hell?

It might be just a water file?

There is a "harmless lava" mod. Make sure you don't have it.

There is a "harmless lava" mod.
there was a mod that made lava harmless and water kill you

make sure you don't have /that/ one either

also try running it with stock blockland and see if it's still harmless

then post console.log of blockland when it is harmless

Neither the Water or lava kill.

Neither the Water or lava kill.

Deleted console.log because it only shows me hosting with the free build game mode and not custom. If you think it helps then let me know and I might remove it from the trash.

Oh derp. Deleted the console.log.

Freebuild is default only, which disables all downloaded add-ons.

This proves it is a conflicting add-on (an add-on you downloaded that breaks lava code)

Find the add-on and disable it.

that almost always fixes it, it worked for me and other people.

How can I find the Conflicting Addon?

How can I find the Conflicting Addon?
lets assume you have 100 add-ons

enable them in groups of 20
as soon as it forgets up, lets say as soon as you enabled the 60th add-on
go back to 40, then enable in groups of five
40.. 45... 50.. forget it blew up again
go back to 45, enable one by one
45... 46... 47... aha! the 47th add-on is the one killing my stuff
do this >>> I THINK I'LL POST IN THE HELP TOPIC WHAT THE ADD-ON WAS <<< do that so we can help future people
then delete it or avoid it like the plague, your choice.

now if you only have like 20 add-ons, enable in groups of 5 then, do the process or w/e

just divide up the work approximately, no need to be exact, just don't do it literally one at a time until you have a really small group to test
