I've tried it a little, and it seems that for certain videos, it will just implode on itself and cause the whole system to reset.

I'm glad that some of you aren't just pissing on the whole system. It's new and will have bugs but on the older thread about Youtube on 3DS was just a complete circlejerk against the application iirc.
