People call me creepy/a stalker?

For some reason, people are calling me creepy and/or a stalker out of nowhere. Why?
Scenario is like this sometimes:
-I view a good post on Instagram
-I go to school
-I talk to my friends about that post on Instagram
-Some idiot calls me creepy/a stalker
Seriously? Does this happen to anyone else?

you see something on facebook or whatever, comment on it if you want, but bringing it up in person is weird

It's a lot worse at my school.
Basically you're labeled a stalker and you are forever placed on the Heathers' stufflist until the day you leave the school if you DARE look at someone you don't know for more than five seconds.

People are saying it's weird to talk about stuff you see on facebook in real life and I don't get where they're coming from. People post stuff about their real life on those things so why not talk about it. But talking about something you saw from somebody that's a distant friend of a friend that you met at that one place that one time is pretty weird.
