Hello Steven.
I am Stephen.
Notice the "ph" is of a much higher class than your common "v"
Please keep that little difference in mind the next time you are cleaning my mansion.

Something smells...
Phishy.

My parents used to have a country house near the Appalachians in NC between Winston Salem and Asheville in a ski town, and it was nice. NC is a beautiful state, and the people are very friendly and welcoming. I'm thinking about Wake Forest, it's a fine university with a beautiful campus and state of arts facilities. I am not too sure what I'd like to go into though, but I know that it might be something relating to finance or brokerage. Adin, what made you want to attend the college you just got accepted into? I'm curious, and was this a full scholarship?

Before I say anything, I need to point this out:
I want to go into the military. But I have a health disability. If the military recruits me, I will go fully enlisted into my selected branch. This means I'll have to re-apply to college in 4 years IF I do go into the military.
I toured/have family who went to/are going to/have some relation to the following schools:
UNC Chapel Hill
UNC Wilmington
UNC Greensboro
UNC Charlotte
ECU
NC State
Duke
Appalachian (HELL loving NO)

When picking a college, I was only concerned with 3 criteria:
Their majors programs
The surrounding area/campus area
What the dorms are like

The ECU dorms are fairly nice, they're not worth $500,000, but it doesn't feel like you're living in a closet either. The campus around ECU is VERY friendly, they've got a small little town very close by with some killer southern style eating and a tattoo parlor (I personally plan to have a variety of tattoos, I keep a list that I constantly keep updated and change as I come up with better ideas.) The majors programs USUALLY aren't all that great at ECU, but their arts program and their marketing programs are FANTASTIC.

Personally, I have an interest in a branch of marketing called "Marketing Communications." It's what my mom does. For a little bit of easy background about the job:
She works for BASF in the agricultural department
She has worked there for about 3 years now
She leads a small group of 4~12 people
She does a LOT of PR and publishing of articles about stuff
She works with adobe products (Which I have industrial-grade certifications in)
She makes almost 150k a year, doing stuff I LOVE to do.
Every major company has a marketing program and a communications program. Marketing Communications is the best of both worlds. It combines the teachings of communication and how to make sure that your target audience gets the message, whereas marketing delves into the technicalities of it, and how to make people WANT to buy a product.

ECU was my top pick simply because I felt at home there. It's a mid-sized campus, nothing trashy but nothing snobby-rich like UNC Charlotte, and when I walked into the marketing class room I was giddy with excitement: They had 50" plasma screens mounted on the walls, 5 on each side, each with a table that supported about 12 chair, and the teacher explained that the students do a lot of work and presentations from that area.
And WITHIN the marketing department, they also work with you on how to market YOURSELF, helping with resumes and helping you find jobs.

In a perfect world, this is my life plan as of 12/11/13 3:33PM EST-
Finish high-school with a 3.0 GPA (this is a huge improvement for me, my sophmore/junior year were really bad)
Enjoy my final summer at home with family and my girlfriend
Enlist into the air force as Military Police at the end of summer
Air Force also puts you through college WHILE you're enlisted
4 years later, I have two options: Take a bachelors degree in law enforcement OR transfer my credits towards my desired major in any college, which the air force would help pay for.
Aka re-apply to ECU, spend 2 years in ECU to get all the classes I need for my major (In the Air Force I would've already gotten all the credits I need to graduate)
Technically I would be a freshman, but because I already had my credits I would be a junior in college. My gf is 2 years younger than me, and this would mean we would both be in the same 'grade' level
Graduate in the year 2020 with a bachelors degree in Marketing Communications

The rest is up for debate.
sorry for posting my whole life story lol
