Author Topic: Is there a way to get rid of cavities?  (Read 2698 times)

I've had five. They gave me a shot in my gums each time and I survived

I must've been going to some ghetto dentist for all these years then. Whenever I happened to get a cavity they would just lay me down and start working without the numbing. It really doesn't hurt at all, I felt a sort of stabby feeling at the tooth but I got used to it.

Usually the dentist doesn't even tell me when he is giving me the shot. They just do it, all the dentists I've had in the past. Maybe that's what happened to you

Were they full cavities or just gap fillings? I've had one cavity before and the dentist gave me a shot but with the gap fillings there was no numbing used; just grind the surface of the teeth a bit and fill it in with resin.

What's with y'all getting so many cavities? You probably have some skank ass breath to go along with them. Remember to brush and floss daily kids.

I am probably physically incapable of cavities (not that I want to try).  Never had any.

There is no way to remove a cavity other than drilling it out or removing the tooth. Either way its not pleasant.
I hate the dentist's drill, its not that it hurts, or that I loathe the sight of it, its just that the sound and vibration that is given off when my teeth are drilled into goes right through me, like nails on chalkboard.

You can't fix cavities, you can only prevent them.

wow you are a bit dumb???? cavities are the LACK of tooth in your teeth, ya dingus.

I wish I could just have like completely metal jaws

nope
i have experience with this
i have very deep "trenches" in my teeth and its almost impossible to brush without using a special tool
i would say all of my teeth except the ones in the front have had a filling
its not that bad, really

buy some cement and fill the holes in your teeth.

I've gotten like 4 fillings because I'm a dumbass about what I eat.

yet i'm stil fit
