Author Topic: Twitch broadcasting tips?  (Read 350 times)

hi blogland forums here

I just got a twitch account and after watching Muzzles' broadcast it inspired me to broadcast occasionally.

any tips/best streaming software?

This. Dont use XSplit
Not the free version at least.
I have the full version that I bought, and I like it. OBS is nice, but I like XSplit more.

TIPS:
I'd recommend you have a good microphone, good internet, a decent computer to stream w/ and someone to talk with. If the quality is 480 or lower, then don't bother. I would only stream in 720 or 1080. Make sure your microphone is clear and has no static.
I used to stream with Freek all the time.

Xsplit can be confusing but it works well. Go with OBS if you don't want a hassle to deal with at first
