It's not like it would go unfixed if everyone decided they wanted to keep it anyway.
It's not like it has been unfixed for years

cant someone use a server side mod to disallow people playertypes from jumping-per-second any faster then "whatever#"

it wouldnt even be noticeable by normal play, since a blockhead shouldnt normally be jumping any faster then he can land anyways.
i've already tried this. player's can "hang" onto the corner until the jump recharges, then go up to the next corner.

Because that's absolutely a point of consideration in this decision, yeah. Say more irrelevant things please.

But how will we escape city RPG lots!??!!???

I think that it should be fixed.

It's fairly obvious this should be fixed - I don't know why it needed a debate thread. It's not like it would go unfixed if everyone decided they wanted to keep it anyway.
I think the reason it has spawned debate is because the bug has been in Blockland for so long that it almost appears to be intentionally left in, so much so that numerous saves have incorporated the bug into their gameplay.

The fact that its been around so long just creates questions about why it still exists.. "Is Badspot aware of it?", "Does Badspot have more pressing priorities?","Is the bug difficult to fix and can Badspot fix it without remaking parts of the game", "Is the  glitch intentional?" or "Does Badspot approve of the glitch?"

I think that whatever the reason for the bug having existed for so long, the general view is that it is best removed if possible, and that the feature be remade in the form of an Add-on if it's wanted by some users.

Simple, Don't play on City RPGs.

I think I can answer all of this relying only on common sense.

Yes the bug is almost certainly difficult to fix and no it's not a pressing issue - that's why it's been around for so long. I don't think any effort will be expended to make it optional in any way - if effort is ever put into fixing it at all.

another thing about corner jumping is it's always two specific opposite corners the two other corners are a lot more difficult to corner jump on

Then we have to get rid of the jumping course gamemode. Ninja jumping or something

I think corner jumpin got its nice little pros. Well I enjoy doing it and it has saved me out of many tricky situations and benefited my gameplay several times. Well that may because I like to exploit things or idk haha. Oh well, the thing is it doesn't bother me. Idk why I'm saying this, I just like corner jumpin. :) Fix it or leave it, no biggie anyways.

And rip ninja jumpin challenge.

I never got that to work for me in the first place.

I wonder how you can do a high quality GIF like that
