Author Topic: iPhone Issues: Switching to Android from iOS - need advice  (Read 1966 times)

So my iPhone 5 usually got a good 8-10 Hours of Web Browsing plus listening to music. The last few days I have been getting 3-5 Hours, like when i'm web browsing you can actually see the percentage go down every 2-3 minutes. It's really loving annoying now. I nearly disabled everyone of by services and did a hard reset and nothing is working. What should I do?

Here's the two things I'm thinking about doing:

Mophie Juice Pack Helium - 1500mAh External Battery Case]
or
iPhone 5 Replacement Battery

Is Bluetooth on by accident? Perhaps you may has increased your screen's brightness?

Instead of replacing the battery, replace the phone.

Preferably with something not made by Apple.

That doesn't help, gj for contributing.

He asked what he should do. I told him.

Whenever you charge your battery, try not to leave it on over night... and always try and charge it from its lowest %.
So say if its like 70%, dont charge it until its lower.

Running your battery down to 0 before charging it should make the battery life longer.

Also LTE can put a bad drain on battery, is that on? (Not 4G, LTE)

I always keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off when i'm out of the house.

I'm keeping iPhone. I don't like Android.

My battery used to be just fine with LTE, I even turned it off for just 4G and it still drained rapidly.

My first MP3 player did that.  It might have to do with age, though.  iPhone 5 should not be having battery issues.  Contact Apple Help or wherever you bought it from?  Buy a new battery?

How about screen brightness? I keep mine at half way and it lasts me a good while.

Take a moment and realize that this is where your Apple cell batteries and all other consumer electronics come from:

Then get a battery, preferably not by Apple or made in the U.S.

Did you download any apps recently? Some are major battery life drainers when left in the background.

Lol Zan, are you implying that 90% of consumer electronics aren't manufactured in those same places?

25% most of the time.
