So, I am in British literature and history, and my teacher is taking any interested to England for two weeks later in May. Problem is, I need $3000. Any suggestions on fundraising?

I went on a similar school field trip when I was a junior. Went to Spain for 3 days then France for 3 days during spring break. It was also $3000. So worth it though, especially since I shared my hotel room with a chick lmao.

Sounds like waste of money/scam because no way can a plane ticket cost $3000. They are usually around 600-800 for a round trip. Also what hotel are you staying out and what is the fee for two weeks?

$3000 is for the total expense. Round trip airfare is $982. I don't know what hotel though, probably multiple across the country. We might go to Scotland and Wales.

Two weeks isn't bad if it covers food. Traveling is a luxury expense, living for a month in the states costs $2-3k alone. Unsurprising it's 3k as exchange rate is a factor as well.

Had this same problem, except it was about 10 times less. Still couldn't go and that's why my friends are now enjoying themselves in Barcelona while I go to school.
