Today when  I woke up, I decided to bust out my laptop and get right to work. However, once I boot up, Im greeted by  having half a screen appear with this giant artifact that was pure white with random RGB colors throughout. So I decided to reseat the RAM and remove and replace the battery, but now the screen stays pitch black. Not pitch black as though the laptop was active but not displaying anything, Im talking about how the screen was pitch black like the laptop was off. The rest of the laptop was working but I cant fix the display artifacts

You can't fix a broken screen. Replace it or if that's impossible, buy a new laptop. Warranty might help.

This.

If it's a good laptop it may be worth replacing the screen panel.

Any chance you unplugged the screen while you where taking it apart?

No

Also I finally found the issue. It has to deal with the battery. I keep reseating it but the screen wont turn on.
