Author Topic: The Medieval Mod  (Read 41975 times)

A lazy, non-helpful army.

I haven't recalled more than 4 or 5 actually contributing.

I wanted to but since you dissapeared i kinda floated away and did my own stuff.

Bushido, its about time to admit that your hopes and dreams have been crushed by your inability to rally a competent workforce. As i said like, 10 pages back - collaborative mods like these always fail because nobody knows what they're meant to be doing - even with a progress tracking system (like activeCollab) most projects totally fail. What hope did a forum thread ever have, you know?

I can see the headlines now...

Bushido...crushed by...inability to rally a competent workforce!

Ephi, thanks for making a point, but I'm still not TOTALLY giving up on this mod. If everyone quits, I'll be working on it myself.

Like I said, I model and if you need help I can help.

I can help with basic programming needs, message me.

Alright, good to know that the entire force isn't incompetent.

Here's what needs to be done: No deadline, just we need to get this done at some point.

Shops with Sellback

( Self Explanatory)

Money Models
  • Four states of wealth: Single, Small, Medium, Large, each with their own model on the ground.

Potion Planning ( Not creative today)

  • Stupid but hilarious names of herbs/ingredients, and what herbs plus other herbs create.
  • A large "Chemistry Table" of stuff that is makable by combining other stuff.

AoT anyone?

Copper, silver, gold, platinum.

EQ style!

Well, its pretty standard procedure to have a range of models for money on the ground. For example if i pick up one coin, i wouldn't expect it to be $9999 or something. I've seen multiple games do it like runescape etc. Its hardly an entirely new concept to the world of gaming.

Some names:

Disgruntled herbs
Extract of happiness
Un-extract of not happiness
Gourd of bad milk
Vial of magical stuff
Green fuzzy herbs
Red not so fuzzy herbs
Yellow slightly fuzzy herbs
Purple prickly herbs (poisonous)
Flask of Oozy glowing liquid
Vampire blood (ironic)
Haunted jar
Essence of Malcontent
Cool floating ball
Grail of acrid wine
Fossilized fish
Philosopher's skull

This is seriously turning into AoT.

I've always been partial to the Zelda "walk up to a chest and open it" mentality.

For the money, did you want like coinstack-type things?
