so just 3 days after dogecoins were officially released, i happened to discover them. i knew it was just some handicapped meme, but i was like "whatever forget it" and started mining them. 1 i7 4770k, 1 i7 3770k, 1 fx-6300 and a 7770 got me around 30k doges total. plus i sold the humble bundle games until i got around 40k. then i lost 20k to the casino. anyways, a few days in some guy on the official forums posts a trading thread. he wanted to trade a windows 8 key for 20k. about how much i had left. oh by the way, 20k doges was worth around, well, 2 dollars. i knew this had to be a scam, but i only had 2 dollars of them so i was like "forget it". after sending the first half of the coins to him, he sends me the key. and i was almost pissing myself at the point because it turned out the be actually legit. i sent the other half over to complete the deal. just installed it and updated to windows 8.1, lovin it. but seriously. some guy sold me windows 8 for 2 goddamn dollars
