for some reason, my wheel based vehicles (ex jeep) won't drive. they won't move forward at all, but others such as the biplane work. my friend and i are both getting the issue

Oh thanks, Badspot! Hopefully vehicle physics can be fixed in future updates, too.

Vehicle physics isn't broken. It is the way it always was, and why anyone would want to remove vehicle humor caused by physics is beyond me. The current physics makes the game.

Although it would be nice to have slightly improved physics, there are many more important issues that need to be addressed first like re-adding an improved map system.
