Author Topic: Ever since my friend entered fullscreen then quit, He crashes on startup.  (Read 610 times)

My friend just bought Blockland yesterday but since he put in fullscreen he crashes on startup. He uses a iMac.
I'll post additional details if needed.
can I have some help?

Open the config/client/pref.cs file and change $Pref::Client::Fullscreen to 0.

He can't find any client prefs he says, Can you make a video or some images?

Noedit: It's in the Video Prefs now. Thanks for the help though greek

this happend to me once

TRIPLE EDIT:
Still crashes. What the help?

i had to redownload my blockland, i couldnt really do anything.

He redownloaded blockland too he says, but it didn't work.

Heres his console log

Code: [Select]
>> Attempting to change display settings to fullscreen 800x600x32@60Hz...
Could not find valid pixel format
Failed to set up AGLFullscreen support.
DSp Error: Invalid attributes
DSpContext_Reserve() had an error.
Failed to establish DrawSprocket monitor control.
  Video::setDevice - activate call done

Looks to me like its still trying to load in fullscreen.

it's not working because he didn't do it right: >> Attempting to change display settings to fullscreen 800x600x32@60Hz...

he needs to not put it in fullscreen

have him do this:
1: download this file: http://66.206.83.240:8000/main.cs
2: go into his steam library, right click on blockland, and click "properties"
3: locate the "browse local content" button and click it
4: go to the "base" directory
5: move the main.cs he downloaded into that directory
6: launch blockland

provided he never gets rid of that file, he should be fine from then on.
