So, I'm some new computer parts for christmas, these being:

 - AMD A8 5600K Black Edition 3.6GHz CPU
 - Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-DS2 Motherboard
 - 2X 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Ram sticks

And i'm planning on running my comp on an APU for a while till I can be bothered to buy a graphics card.

My question is:
If I use the APU and have a graphics card in the PCI slot will It increase performance? or will it do jack stuff (Using the APU, not the GCard)

If I made no sense then I'm sorry, but ehegh

AMD offers software to make an AMD-Brand GPU work alongside the APU. So if you buy a Radeon GPU, you'll experience the performance benefit of both graphics chipsets. Although, I recommend you get an A10 instead of the A8 if at all possible.

I think you're asking if performance will improve if you're still only using your APU. No, because you're still only using your APU.
Misunderstood. Pecon7 knows what he's talking about.
