They were born in a metal cage without a nest so when they were born they were born directly on the metal cage.

what the forget

the only thing i did badly to animals was put an older kitten on a large box top (the tops you can pop off of plastic boxes) and slid the box top off this maybe 3-foot high ledge onto the soft ground, but it jumped off in mid-flight and landed safely, then I just placed it in a really small puddle and I still feel horrible for the things I did.

The only bad thing I did to an animal as a kid was try to ride my dog as a horse.
I don't think it hurt her because I was light, but she looked at me with the purest expression of "wtf"
