USB mice are being rejected by my computer

Computer megathread and I get ignored, so I tried.  Here's the quote from it:

I'm on my computer right now and it is rejected all mouse devices from the USB ports.  My fans and stuff still work, so it's just the mice.  Of the mice, one is cordless and the other is tethered into the port.  Both of them aren't working.

I've had this problem many times before and it will sometimes go away on its own.  The mouse will be in the computer and just not turn on, or sometimes the light underneath will be on but the device is unresponsive.  The computer has been restarted and put to sleep already and it isn't helping.

I hope I don't have to start a thread for this.

I'm not playing Blockland on my touchpad, that just doesn't work well.

Have you installed all the proper drivers?  Are your USBs properly connected with your motherboard?

Yeah, the cordless (just got it for Christmas) was working fine this morning; it just randomly stopped working.  The cord mouse (which I've had since getting this computer) worked fine too except when this situation would come up, and it'd be down for a while.

But like said before, all other USB devices (my fans, LED lights, flash drives, etc) work fine even in the same port, so I'm assuming it's a computer issue.

Not sure, never done it before cause my dad usually does all the updates on the computer.  How would I do it?

Look up the name of your mouse and put "drivers" behind it.  Download and install.

Try the mice on another computer, there's a good chance they themselves are broken (it's happened to me before).

I don't have another one, but I'll check my PS3.  The mouse I'm using I just got yesterday though, and I doubt they both broke on the same day.

Btw, I restarted my computer today and before it shut down, I got a blue screen and it wanted to initialize a crash dump due to some problem.  Could these be linked?

If it's not the mice, it could be a connection issue. For the most part, from a software standpoint, the end result won't change if the deciding factors remain the same. So, if you say it sometimes works, but sometimes doesn't, and you're not changing anything, then it's most likely something hardware related.

It has to be a computer issue with the mice, cause they very likely would not just stop working at the same time.  I've been troubleshooting and one forum says to uninstall unnecessary USB stuff, or uninstall/reinstall some things.  I'm looking through the Device Manager under USB Controllers but I don't know what to uninstall.

Noedit: I don't know if this is relevant, but the mouse I'm using is a BORND M120 Wireless Silent Mouse.  The cord mouse in by ONN but I'm not sure on the model.

If I plug the cord mouse in, the light will flash a little bit, or sometimes turn on, but the cursor still doesn't move.
