Author Topic: What would you actually do during a real lockdown at your school?  (Read 2554 times)

Well, according to procedures you're suppose to kiss your ass goodbye and shut up while cowering in a corner. However, discussing with teachers and such the real plan is the stay in spot until the guy chooses your room. If he does than its time for everyone to man up and throw a desk.

open window and loving RUN.
the sad thing is that im on the second floor
so it'd be hazardous
Of course, why didn't I think of that? Windows! Everybody thinks stepping up the game on school security means more guys with guns on campus, but it's actually about more emergency exits! The windows should be built to pop off, like the emergency exits on school buses. Then instead of locking the door and hiding under tables, you could lock the door, crawl out the windows and run.

Anyway I've been in a lockdown before in middle school. Nobody was crying and stuffting themselves, but then again we weren't totally certain if the gunman was in our school or not (the report was that they went off into the woods). So everyone just sat against the wall and chilled for a while.

But next time I'm totally pulling some home alone stuff.

probably rush the attacker and throw scissors that i learnt from mw2 mlg pro style
or run

My school is my house. I have a katana and a baseball bat leaning up against my armoire right next to me.

then just use a gun.
even a real school and blunt and sharp objects.

lol

I would run to the nearest fire escape exit, and I'd try to get outside as fast as possible.

Would you let your current girlfriend's dad ruin her life first though?

whip out my 30 inch slanger and smack them across the wall

You would know all about 30 inch slangers, wouldn't you?

1. Escape school
2. Barracade door and hope for the best
3. Hide under tables, hope for best. Play dead
4. Hero mod activate; smash intruder over the new with a desk

seriously, doing exactly what they tell you is the best option

1. since the room youre in appears empty, the gunman is less likely to try and break in
2. the doors are extremely thick and sturdy, you'd seriously need like a bazooka to take one down
3. the glass is reinforced with wire, so even if they manage to break the glass they still need a pair of wire cutters
4. if they cut through the wire they still won't be able to unlock the door if it's been properly barricaded

we had a lock down at my school before. all we did was sit scared under our desks in the dark for like an hour and then we were good.

rush him with my head wide open from a safe, long distance, and only after his weapon is drawn and i've made sure the safety is off

go out window obviously

my school is all one floor

"Screw you guys, I'm going home"

well my classroom is on the second floor so
