Author Topic: I can't identify this port  (Read 1494 times)

So I got an elgato and have been trying to get it to film my PC. However, in getting it to plug into my GPU, I had to sacrifice one of the two monitors I got by using the HDMI to Mini-HDMI cord I got with the monitor
There are three ports into the GPU. Mini HDMI is being used by elgato, while the DVI-D is used by one of the two monitors I had. I saw this last port, but for the life of me I don't know what it is and the logo is something I haven't seen before

Could you guys identify this?

Dvi Dual link?
unless you're talking about the thing next to that, which I don't know

I don't think so. The GPU only has one DVI-D port which the monitor that's plugged in is using.

A more head-on photo might work better since it's kind of hard to see the shape of the pens in that one.

It's just a DVI port... the black one.

I can't really get a good view on the pins from this angle, but it looks like a DVI M1-DA port. I don't know much about it, except it's a DVI-I with USB, which I don't really understand.

EDIT: I searched it up, all I find about it is it's used commonly with projectors.

Here's a better shot of the port and pins

Looks like a standard HDMI port to me.

Edit:

Wait derp, those aren't called HDMI. As evidenced below.
