That's what it literally means, but whenever someone says that, they nearly always are also implying that it was a a significant amount of time ago. If it's not, then they might as well be about the same age

But 2 years is a relatively significant amount of time, a lot can change within 2 years.
Especially since the comment was literally that at 13 years old he did not like weed, but at some point within 2 years he tried it.

reminds me of this party i went to once where everyone was doing HxC drugs sniffin cocaine off the arm of the couch n stuff i was like wow i dont live this life but my friend (as a joke lol) got me with his half used heroine needle and after that everything kind of mellowed out you know sometimes you just gotta do a little h to get the party started love being a teenager and having wild parties live life to the fullest you know carpe diem brothers!!! :))
