Author Topic: With all the new Steam Members, are we glad?  (Read 2883 times)

To me, I don't like it. Not in the way of trying to Block people of, it's just its such a big change in such little time, humans are not used to it, Normally. So would you all hold your horses.... Sheesh. I'm Ready for the Crap Commets at me, full steam ahead.
Ok sheesh, I didn't Mean it like any of that. I just have my Option how I don't Like the fill of new people.
For humans, Change is something they are not used too. Also, this change not everyone would say they don't want Badspot And his team to make money. Just they are not used to the rush.
Can anyone tell what the hell this guy's saying?

Hating yourself must be a terrible ordeal.
As a 13ker someone with a 30k id might as well have joined yesterday as far as I care lol

Majority of the steam players are young adults. Meaning 18+. Quality gamers.
lol

these noobs still build more then all you guys do

Being a 5k, you all could be considered noobs right now.

Lol, I saw a blockhead___ player on a Speedkart server. Someone kept calling him a dumbass but he was just silently driving along, he did pretty well.

The forget are you going on about change for, like this is some big turn of events that's going to send your life into a completely different direction? Now I've seen people complain about getting new players because they think this game is some sort of loving club, and they don't want to have to deal with "noobs" - but you buddy, ohohoho, you take the cake for the dumbest sounding motherforgeter on here.

This is a good thing for Blockland. Getting on Steam and Amazon was one of the best things since going Retail. More people buying the games means bigger support and more frequent updates. It used to be we would get a new version once on a blue moon, but now we have a launcher, it's easier to apply updates, Badspot's getting more income - it's perfect. The game is finally getting the kind of exposure it needs.

It's also great for the community. Blockland has great Add-On support, and with more people buying the game, there's a higher chance some will have some experience in modding and could provide some great Add-Ons, or even builds, or who knows what else.

Every game has new players. Some are new to the game, some are new in general. You need to stop acting like a loving shut-in and deal with it. If new players is your biggest problem, you need to take a loving break from this game pal.

So yeah, you better be glad - because there's no reason for you to be disappointed that the game is selling. It's a loving product. That's what happens handicap.

I'm ok with it honestly.
Seen some nice and mature new people.
I thought it was going to be 9 year old central but forget no.

Can anyone tell what the hell this guy's saying?
this

Honestly I cannot understand any of ops posts in this thread.

4 people are going to have a tough time dealing with all the new nice things we'll have due to new players

Most of the new steam users who have gotten Blockland have been able to fit in well or be very quiet. I haven't seen anyone with a ID Between 60-80K act like a idiot.

I've met some really great players that are in the 70ks to 80ks. Can we stop with the BL_ID discrimination already?  I thought we got past that.
I remember when I joined Blockland everyone was calling 40kers noobs, but after the 50kers started coming in people forgot about 40kers and started moaning about the 50kers.
It seems players will always call new players "NOOB".

It's always in increments of 10k
When I joined as a 10k that was bad
Then 20k was bad
30k
Then 40k
Now we are talking about 100k, and everyone below except 90k will bitch and moan about them because a huge majority of our playerbase is too immature to grasp that more players is more revenue for BL and means more progress on the game.

Note: If you want Blockland to stay as a "small community" you should kill yourself, thereby making the community smaller and better.
