As an SA on Jakob's server and a previous co-host long ago, Jakob is a good host, and that's all he is.
His playing style is fun, but the same as a lot of other people and in no way did he create anything in the sense that he likes to think ("meteors are my idea and mine alone! I totally came up with the idea even though 4 other mini empires had them prior to my first hosting!")
Jakob has never, at least in the history that I've known him, been abusive or an angry guy. If anything he's easily one of the most level-headed.
That's not to say he's not trouble-some. Between /spartankick and /slap it's hard to work on his server at times because of those commands and his lack of attention
To my understanding progress was lost. Jakob apologized for that. What appears to be the problem within this thread is that Fab lost a build without a warning, and he was de-admined for no apparent reason.
To sum up my response to Fab:
Jakob's server, Jakob's decision.
Longer version:
Fab from what I can recall, you are a really annoying MERP player. If I'm thinking of the right person, you try to swing the rules as much as possible, building extremely quickly, duping armies around like they just fornicate like rabbits, building trebuchets like trees come out your ass, etc. As an admin, I have no experience with you, but I assume if Jakob and his fellow admins had enough reason to remove you, it was probably a good choice.
