Author Topic: Can't change avatar  (Read 1146 times)

This is really getting to me, I have tried to change my avatar a ton of times.

Things I have tried -

Changing size to 75x75 / 74x75 / 74x74 / 70x70
Clearing image cache, Shift F5, Ctrl F5
Using Internet Explorer / Google Chrome.

If anyone could suggest ideas that would be great.
Oh fyi it's not animated.

if i remember correctly, it can't go above a certain bitrate, so try doing 74x74 at the lowest possible bitrate (while still looking good)

try making it a gif
Nop,

Nop,
how is any of this related to making it a gif

doesn't matter if your avatar is a still image make it a gif and try again

Make it a 1x1

In all seriousness, how much KB does the avatar has, If its over 30-40, its too much I'm pretty sure. Have you tried resizing down to 50x50? And give us a pic of the avatar as well.

not the loving size

the BIT RATE
What do you mean? I can't find where to change bitrate in photoshop.

65x65 usually works for me more than 70x70 or 75x75.

too long to upload or too big. :( It's only 2kbs.

I re-sized this to 60x60 to make it work.

Tested.
It's working.
THANKS! What did you do to make it work?

hit ctrl f5 to clear your cache.
