Author Topic: Custom Projectile?  (Read 1836 times)

I want to use a custom bullet for a gun, but I am wondering if there are certain points I have to use. How2do?

nope, just make sure it is centered on the grid (milkshape user) this is probably the same for blender

it looks like you set the item of the gun as the bullet.dts but not given the gun a model.

No, the pic on the bottom is just the projectile I used events to shoot it up; the gun itself works fine.

Could you post the add-on so I could take a look at it?

Create a detail32 empty and a shape empty, parent everything but shape to detail32 and parent detail32 to shape.

Don't talk in Blender terms to a Milkshape user.  It won't work.

Ah, I didn't realize.

Did you make sure all of the shape names have a 0 at the end of them? (EX: Bullet0) That was a mistake I made a lot a while back.

Also try renaming the bullet.dts to something different than the default name and changing the script because Blockland might automatically set it to the default bullet if it sees that name.
