Steam is having issues with locating Blockland's folder...

When I start up Blockland on Steam, it gives me the same error about not being able to save my prefs.  When I look in the config folder under ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Blockland/config/client/, there's nothing inside. How can I fix this bug?
I'm using Mac OS 10.8.5, by the way.

noedit: If it's legal and all, could someone post config files for me to try out?

it's legal - you can put config files from the non-steam blockland in the steam blockland.

this will result in blockland working, but you cannot modify the preferences, you cannot save saves, and a whole sluegh of other problems.

but forget you're 10.8.5 too???? i thought this was a 10.9 problem.

Yes but I was hoping it was just some random error on your computer, but 10.9 as a whole was causing problems for everyone

Still possible, but now it looks like that's what it is for everybody.

Considering I was banned once for accidentally sounding like I was doing piracy, I'll make it clear:

I don't see how sending any Blockland files to anyone would be considered piracy. All the game files are freely available for download.
