Author Topic: So my cousin wants to induce Argyria on his Axototl  (Read 1383 times)

Agyria, incase you don't know, is a condition that pigments your skin blue/ bluish gray after getting exposed daily to silver/silver particles, such as continuously drinking colloidal silver. I told him its a stupid idea and he should feel bad, but then i got curious if can it even be induced on amphibians. should i let him do it?

and endangered

Axolotls are really sensitive, but human argyria is not harmful. If it is antibiotic silver, then that might kill the tank's good bacteria and the axolotl's gut flora.
I am honestly not sure.

Well hello there. :)
and endangered
Critically endangered. At this rate, they're probably going to be extinct in the wild.

If this is the case, your friend is a cunt, OP.
Tell him not to do it.

Someone gave my advisor (at school) a whole bunch of axolotl eggs, there were like 80 of them in a tank. Unfortunately they all died before they grew big.

ive used colloidal silver for ear infections.
almost yearly.

works way better then antibiotics, and dosnt forget you up long term like antibiotics do.
