Oh, that was actually a map? I thought he put some kind of effort into this topic and actually messed around with the mission editor

I have a problem, the game keeps crashing and I can't load good quality shaders without the game black screening me, if I can't fix this the project is no more, here is my progress
You handicap. That's a Gmod map

I don't see these shaders you speak of?

Also, you can edit your posts by clicking on the button to the top left of your posts, people don't like it when you post more than once or twice in a row

That last picture is from Garry's Mod, what the heck?
The screenshots feel like they were taken in Garry's Mod. I see faint ambient occlusion and bloom in some of the screenshots. The jeep and Bedroom were also ported to it.
that is the map in gmod
looks exactly like the one in Gmod

and those jeeps too
It's fake, map from GMod.

Well, if he leaked the game or something, if he doesn't then, he is bullstuffting. Well Frost show us some video not just a damn picture!

I agree, we need some gameplay!

I really would've like to have seen this happen.

Well of course Blockland can run shaders and maps well. There are games out there that are running shaders with completely destructible interiors with millions of polygons on screen.

The issue is simply that Blockland is not made by a AAA title game production company, and Kompressor does not have the time nor the skills to rewrite Torque to the point of supporting both. The only reasonable way we could adopt interiors and shaders as a package is if we upgraded to Torque3D, which will not and should not happen.

Yes, we get it, you want maps and shaders together. The majority of your posts on the forum are about this very subject, and no, it's not going to happen. There is very little maps can do that custom bricks can't do with a little time and effort.

Sorry to bump this, but what are the actual downsides to update to Torque 3D?

It would take a long time and to much effort to do that.
