Either it's real, or a very strong coincidence.
I thought they were just taking credit from random DDoS attacks, but I looked at their Twitter for a last time, and they posted
Minecraft.net & Login server #offline
It was 4 minutes old. I then checked Minecraft.net and I was able to login and things all fine. I check their Twitter again to find that they got a summary of the website

and after refreshing Minecraft.net, I'm greeted to this

Not sure what their reasons of doing this for whatever purpose, but this is just ridiculous. They've claimed to have DDoS'd a couple of Battle.net servers, accidental outtage in North Korea, Club Penguin, Minecraft, Runescape, LoL, GuildWars2.com, Gamefirst.com, EveOnline.com, Dota 2 and a crapload of others.
EDIT: I realize that all they do is hire a bunch of botnets or whatever, but the amount of crap they're doing isn't something that happens much
they also spelt 'interrupted' wrong
