There is an industrial fire in the Los Angeles area, that might have something to do with the power outage.

Also, that's why the visibility is currently poor in Los Angeles.

I live in the Valley and I'm not encountering this problem. I was also in Studio City at the exact time you posted this. Dunno what the problem is.

Most likely a neighborhood power transformer went out. Your power outage is probably localized to your street, unlike that one a year or two ago when some dumbass installed something backwards and took out power for all of southern California.

The power is back now.
The internet search said Studio City, it was probably wrong.
I think it was a more 'local' outage.
Before I realized that the internet went out I was scanning for internet nearby and nothing popped up (not even my own). I guess the routers where connected to the house electricity so they went out.
