The overall shape of the exterior just seems a little wrong to me, I'm not sure why. I love the stone design you have done for the chimney though, the kitchen is lovey too.

8.8/10

EDIT: Also I thought that Tudor houses had black and white panelling, not brown and tan.

Tudors are brown and off-white I believe.

tudor style means to have exposed beams. they do not require any color whatsoever. please don't talk about what you dont know :)

also cowboy, i never knew you could build!

i kind of dislike the castle thing you were going for with the blend of the 1x2f stone paneling.

Tudors are brown and off-white I believe.

They can be several different combos of colors, most common is black and off white, but there is also brown and cream along with brown and off white. My coloring can be found IRL, for example in Minneapolis:

So no, they are not just one type of color.

I thought you knew, Pass! I'm full of surprises. :P The stone front I knew wasn't going to be popular with everyone and that's fine, but for me I think it adds a lot of depth and keeps it from looking like a bland (at least to me), all beamed front.

I added the "I believe" because I wasn't sure about it.  I was just saying what my experience has been with Tudor styled housing.

But that's enough defending myself on the internet.  It's a lovely build, Cowboy.  It seems a little too brown though.  I'd suggest a different colorset or something, because the back is kind of put-offish.
The masonry in the front is delightful.

Hey, thanks for applying! I must say that I do like your interior more than I like the exterior. The main reason for that being the roof. It just seems really high, and where it clashes with the exterior walls looks really jagged and out of place. Your use of colors is quite nice, and nothing seems to be fighting for my attention. The walkway up could be a little more interesting. You have all that room in the front of your build to utilize still. I also don't think that the stone work on the front needed to go that high up. If it was just level with the other two sides would have been good as well.

+ Use of colors is appealing to the eye
+ That kitchen looks wonderful and practical
+ The stone work in the front is good.
- The roof seems a little awkward.
- Walkway is dull.

Overall it's still a very good application. We'll just wait on other members to give their critiques.
If it looks like I stole ladezkik's method of reviewing it's because I did. Even though his going to be better.

That whole style is the Fachwerk design, mainly popular in Europe, and it can honestly be any color you wish. It's one of my favorite house designs.

Anyways, really nice build, there isn't much room for improvement imo, exterior is really nice, interior is good. Good job!

Beautiful build, I love the exterior besides that super steep roof, but it doesn't really seem like there we be another way to make it. The interior is great too except for the walls inside. Maybe you could build wooden beams/supports along them in the main rooms besides having them completely flat. Overall, great build. I would accept you.

The most common form of Tudor house is black and white panelling, that is why I got confused. :)

Regardless, nice build.

-snip-

Regardless, nice build.

Yep, that is what I took my inspiration from. I have all original homes and other buildings in my list of builds, but I felt this one showcased best my abilities for interior and exterior building, thus I used this one for my app.

Thank you for the critique and praise alike guys, it's really appreciated.

This is a bit odd, but are there any views of the sides of the buildings? May we get some photos if you don't mind?

the discrepancy in pattern with the fat grey bricks atop all the small 1x2f bricks is bad
should have continued 1x2f pattern

Sure, here they are.

How is it a discrepancy? I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean.
