It's freezing where I live too! It's going to be 8 degrees here tomorrow, and it's snowing here currently. We're expecting a foot or more, already 4 inches on the ground.

This monday for me: Low of -17 with 20 some mph winds. Its supposed to be -50 F with windchill at times.

I'm going off to grandparent's house for the weekend tomorrow about 200 miles north.  One of their lows will be -13 AND "blustery"

I loving hate the snow. What part of shoveling driveways, slipping on ice, driving slow, freezing your ass off, or seasonal depression is desirable to you? Even as a little kid I hated when it'd snow, I'd go outside for five minutes and get snow all inside my loving pants and jacket and I'd be cold as stuff. I'd run back to the house trying not to cry because the cold hurt so bad. I'd make 2 snowballs and before I could throw them I'd have lost feeling in my fingers with bad pain in my hands. Not to mention electricity costs for heating up your house.

What part of making snowmen, snowball fights, sledding, staying home from school etc is desirable to you?  You left those out.  Snow does get old after a short while though.

Put your pants over your boots to keep snow out.
Tuck your jacket into your pants to keep snow out.
Wear gloves to keep your hands from getting cold.
