actually i learned how to converse in spanish from being in spanish class but from that i also started to hate speaking spanish so my mom knowing this tells me to speak spanish to relatives a lot and it's annoying as forget
she's all like "no te salgas hasta lo digas en español" when she's video chatting with a relative on skype and i end up getting caught passing by from the camera

when i was like 14 i figured out i could make money by translating hentai eroge for people. the dialogue in both mediums is usually laughably simple and i could make a couple hundred a month if i felt like doing a lot work. i learned a ton more japanese doing that then i ever learned spanish in the four years i took classes.
