"Can we hurry up already? The sun is setting". I continue to sit down with my knife in my hand just in case.

"I am going."

I shoot the pistol one time in the air. Then I signal everyone to make noise.

I get down the semi truck to pick up a rock, climb back up and start hitting the truck hard with the rock.

I kick the windows until they shatter.

In a few seconds, a man with taut, pale skin and a slobbering mouth appears around 30 yards away from Jack, who is standing outside the window. From this angle, only Jack (master rockets) can see the monster. It starts to sprint towards jack with it's arms flailing wildly around.

I continue to play with my cards, oblivious.

I think he meant the semi's window.

If not:
I say, "Everyone, stop." I a hushed, yet loud voice so the others can hear my voice.

I listen for any other sounds in the dusk. Crickets, other animals in the distance scurrying to home, and the birds of the night hooting.

I also hear running.

I also hear running and some growling. I take out my combat knife.

I quickly jump into the truck and lock the door. "He's coming!" I yell.

I put my combat knife in an offensive position. "Alright. Lets kill this monster!"

I take out the rifle, and aim up the sights.

"Aim for the head... aim for the head..."

The monster is in my sights and I let out a rapid succession of precise shots to the head region.

Roll.

(How many shots?)
The zombie runs out.

A whole mag.

Runs out?

A whole mag.

Runs out?
Of the store.

You let loose 8 shots from the rifle. Of those 8 shots, only the second shot connects with the head, grazing the side of the monster's head and blowing a bit of skin and the ear off, leaving the skin flapping around but the brain intact. He's lightly wounded, and quickly turns around and runs back into the rest stop.

(This is why you don't go full handicap with your shots)
