Author Topic: The Setro house ([H]eight application if possible)  (Read 3175 times)

never stack wall bricks directly on top of eachother. that always looks awful. layer them like a brick wall instead.
all the other issues have been adressed above.

how about instead of defending against people's criticism, you take it?

Maybe you need a tutorial on the basics of building a house.

Meh, I guess it's alright.

It is the exterior that pretty much kills it.
Too much red.

Looks spammy, rushed, and generally poorly done. There were a few nice touches here and there, but this needs a lot of work. Lacks color, too.

Essentially this, the walls are poorly made, just big 1x5x5? come on add some design, the kitchen, probably the worst in the house, it's bland. Though the potplant adds nice touch. The outside of the house is just one color with a few tiny windows, be more creative. please it's not that hard, rating - 2/10

it's not what bricks you use, it's how you use them.

The exterior needs some more thought

I was feeling "not that terrible" and then I saw the exterior. Lordy lord, that exterior.

For some reason I thought Setro was capable of building

5.5/10 for interior
4/10 for exterior
1/10 for garage

as an height representative, i take to the pact of declaring a vote of NO to your submission.

seriously though, exterior is ugly, too plane, the house shape is something from 'little boxes on the hillside'
exterior is the best of the house, but it still needs work, better bricks for better detail is what is needed.
garage is the only thing that make the house itself look different, but it's just a smaller box painted gray, attached to a bigger box painted red.

overall rating is a 2/10
imo you're not cut out for height.
