Author Topic: Do you miss your first years of Blockland?  (Read 3101 times)

Yeah, the game did seem kinda magical and mysterious when I first started playing. It was pretty awesome.

I miss the Terrain and Interriors. I think I spelled that right

I miss 2011 when I started playing the demo after seeing those awesome Blockland videos.

same. now i'm looking for something that is new to me on blockland other than shaders or steam.

rather play old since then idk what the forget i was doing and i used to play all day + night loving around, now i rly dont play as much anymore.

I miss loving around on Bedroom in v20...

I miss the Terrain and Interriors.

same here a bit, the Terrain and Interriors were the major selling point for me to buy blockland but the shadows and Shaders that replaced them made a nice trade with pros and cons for each. but I still loved that bedroom, people just need to learn to just let go of things.

My first online community was the roblox players who showed up back in 2010 and forgeted everything up. I played the game for about a year and it was awesome but there were always idiots who blocked doors and spammed the chat and stuff. When I finally got fed up with that stuff community I started looking for a different game to play. I noticed the "ROBLOX IS BETTER THAN BLOCKLAND" stuff and took a look at blockland. I tried the demo and it was amazing. The sheer possibility is really what made me want to buy this game. In late 2011 i finally bought my blockland key. Since then we have had so many updates and events. We got on steam and outsold CS:GO for three days! However I always missed the old days of terrains and interiors. v21 is worth losing the maps though.

I miss certain people. I can remember individual names of players that I use to play with and when I search their name on RTB it's sad to see they haven't played in years. Maybe one day they'll start Blockland back up.

I'd say that I wish I could go back and experience it again, but I think I like where Blockland has taken itself.

But I am new, 2013 were my first days and they were normal.

I remember, about 7 years ago. Hosting servers with tons of add-ons, getting full amounts of players each time I hosted. Hosting RPs no joke, TDMs, Dms, House Builds, Zombie Apocalypses, those times were so fun I wish I could go back to them.

But now everyone goes to non unique servers, plays them constantly, people only join the servers that have players in them. They never come to the unique servers that they should do. Then they complain that there are no servers out there.

To be honest, I would rate six years ago a lot better than now.

My first year was pretty good, even though I was a crap builder. I still miss going on slopes, skiing.

I miss the old DMs that had no gimmicks or anything, it was just shooting each other. I remember someone would host a DM and it would fill with like 20 players and the map would be chaos with bullets and rockets flying everywhere. I still enjoy the game now but my first years were golden since everything was new and I was constantly discovering features to the game, and I miss some players from my first years.

In the demo version ( i had demo since like early 2010 before i bought it in 2011 ) i tought my self how to event and played laser tag with bots. When I bought it I met a guy named "SPKL1000" who now is in military school apparently. I do miss my golden early days, but I could also say what Ragna said. Why go back, it's only getting better.
But actually, the Bedroom was my favorite default map. My favorite custom map was either Nieb's Model House, any of GSF Ghost's maps, or Spyglass by I forgot who.

The first time when i played Blockland was so amazing, now it feels like a decent part of my life, but i still remember the good old days of Blockland.
