Want to know what also costs a lot? Funeral expenses.
I would have turned that heater off the first time I woke up in smoke. This is not something to mess with and the heater needs to be deactivated for good. Keep it up and the smoke with eventually overwhelm all of you in your sleep and then you won't be waking up to shut it off.
Its because it was lit inside, where it isn't suppose to be lit.
How about a regular electric space heater? They aren't above $50 and won't burn your house down.
And wait a minute, you're using a computer and likely a cathode monitor (big power guzzlers) and paying for internet at whatever speed it is, but your only source of heat is a kerosene heater that will likely kill you? I think there is some priority mis-management going on here.
First off, stop with the electric heater stuff. It isn't going to happen.
The monitor is turned off each time I leave the PC and the PC only uses as much power as it needs because it self-throttles.
We require internet because both my school and my dads college requires it.
We are stuff out of options here. Maybe if our electric company would quit loving everyone over than it wouldn't be so bad.
