Author Topic: Need halps with BL connecting to nets  (Read 3330 times)

Weird.

I should note that there's little more helpful information here than he already posted... At least, to my knowledge.

Anyway, it seems it's not binding on the proper port. I'm not sure why it wouldn't. Maybe it's not picking up the connection itself? If it isn't, then it's probably not able to bind to a port for some reason. Weird, hm.

I doubt the port binding has anything to do with the problem, i'm sure he's probably just trying to connect behind a school network or something, or hasn't allowed blockland to go through firewall software.

No

Its my home computer, its been fine and then suddenly it does this

Nothing new has been installed to my knowledge

Myabe you're hosting provider is doing some thing that you don't know about.

And I believe binding is done locally, so you don't even need to have an internet connection at all for it to bind, IIRC.

Well, in the sense of the actual internet. Your computer still needs to have an IP from someplace, probably a LAN.

Please, I seriously need help
Now I just dled gmod and multiplayer wont work

Help with the problem, dont speculate for like 3 posts and then quit.

Internet providers have this special thing called "Technical Support", maybe thing about using it?

try comp - modem connection.

might have nothing to do with it, usually any net issues for me can be solved by not using a router lol

router was my prob, but I didn't fix it so it still my prob....=(

Well how about trying to resetup your Internet connection, I do it all of the time.

Well I just found out it isnt having problems with garrys mod, the internet just went down while I was playing it.

But the internets in general are hating torque games because I get "connection error 0" whenever I try to go online for a torque game.

forget off, I havnt been able to play blockland for months.
