There should be a "refresh key" page on the Blockland site where you can enter your key and receive an email that contains a link. Upon clicking this link you would get a new key and your old key would be deactivated (while maintaining your BLID and name, it just changes the key)

Key = BL_ID
If you get a whole new key, you get a new ID; otherwise you get the same key.

I did find a trap link by some one his name started with DT
The link led to a website where it makes a registration for Blockland v22
It required many things including your blockland code

What im saying is, this kid might have fell for a trap link.
Some of the lower age blockland players are just bound  to fall for it.
