Author Topic: DDoS attack... Again?  (Read 2104 times)

So when I start BL, my key needs to be entered.
I enter my key, and it says "Full Version Unlocked" then like 1 second later "Key Invalid"

Me : "WTFFFF NOT THE DDoS ATTACK AGAINNNN SHHIIIIIIITTTTTT"

2 seconds later : "NO!!! ITS ATTACK OF DDoS!!! stuff... I better get my emergency key out!"

*Enters key*

"Key Invalid"

what.
anyways, im not sure if its a ddos attack or not.

Everyone got kicked out of my server at once!  :panda:

Nothing can be done, we're going to have to wait on either Badspot or for the person ddosing to get bored

ah stuff i got the FATAL ISV error again.

That's the loving DDoS attack then. Everyone on BL was kicked off and now  cannot get on.

Umm..  I've been on this entire time?

we need the master to be able to handel this stuff, its not like this is gunna stop

Is your server running r1925?

Is your server running r1925?
Badspot has hit post #teel, the opposite of leet

Are we gonna assume every error as a DDoS?

Anyone else fed up about the fact that someone out there feels the need to create a topic whenever Blockland goes down?

We need a new master server that can not be DDos like those other games

Edit: For some reason I can still get on blockland but the servers are off?

Sadly a new master server won't fix the problem. The problem is a lot deeper then that. In terms of ddos anyways.

A DDoS is nothing more than a never-ending stream of requests from a large number of sources. The only way to protect against this is by having a system to identify the DDoS source and block it.
