Author Topic: So I had a gig at a music festival last night  (Read 1337 times)

It was pretty far off, but myself and my sister and our bandmates all went there to play, and it was a blast for a while. On the way there, though, she was driving really aggressively and ended up skidding on the ice on our home road and doing a 180 before stopping. She was completely nonchalant about it.
I asked if it would be all right if I drove on the way home, and she said no. I didn't feel like staying at the place as late as she did, so I hitched a ride with my dad.
Turns out she got in a car accident pretty much as soon as she started driving back. Apparently she's fine, but the car is pretty much done for. I feel like I majorly majorly dodged a bullet here, but I feel kinda guilty because I did give her some flak. I also feel like I did everything I should have because I told my dad, and he texted her to be careful on the way back. There was major fog on the highway, and I'm almost certain that even if she made it out of the city area she would have wrecked her car on the highway.
So yeah I'm alive
blogland should know I guess

women drivers
that sucks. what kind of car was it?

You shouldn't feel guilty if your sister is a reckless driver

You're lucky, I had to drive with my brother on an icy road because a new sonic game collection released on his birthday. Steep hill and ice + Avalanche = 10 Mph and 4 hours of my day wasted.

You don't get in a car with a reckless driver. Especially if there's ice on the road. ESPECIALLY if it's a girl.

Trying to remember exactly what the car was. If I remember I'll post.

She gets stressed out really easy though, she's like the exact opposite of me in that regard.

I know, but I feel like I haven't been good about it with her.

I have to admit that this was part of my thought process. I hate it when I'm loveist but it really can be like that.

I'd kinda like to know more about the music festival you played. Glad you're alive, though.

Folk music, most likely you wouldn't enjoy it lol
The thing was called Boston Celtic Music Festival, it was a blast. The fact that everyone there was either a musician or knew that they weren't made for some pretty awesome jam sessions.

Is she hot?
definitely not by your standards. or mine.
she's kinda short and fat.
