Author Topic: Going back to full time public school  (Read 2716 times)

I started public school again last Monday after a year and a half of homeschooling

How is it physically possible to suck at being part of a functioning society this much?

I was a restless kid.  I always wanted attention and was not school-minded.  I remember always wanting to be like the other kids.  When I was in 2nd grade, in "music class" if that's what you want to call it, we played "Purple People Eater" a lot and there was this kid who would pretend he was playing a saxophone.  I saw him doing it and imitated him.  I got a glare and he stopped, but I kept doing it.  Clueless apparently.

I think what he needed was a psychiatrist. That is seriously, SERIOUSLY not normal.

In kindergarten, I didn't draw pictures of anything except Chrysler Prowlers crashing into water heaters with fire raging around it.  I'm making myself smile typing that lol

Edit:

BTW got my classes today,

1st hour: Spanish II
2nd hour: Art Fundamentals
3rd hour: Algebra II
4th hour: Earth Science
5th hour: Government
6th hour: Speech
7th hour: Study Hall

I have my doubts that you are going to be a senior

eg; Algebra II
The lowest level math you can take senior year is Algebra II, and depending on your state, junior year

Yet you said the classes you're taking are too advanced, so I can't believe you're going to be a senior

Who says all classes were advanced? And in Missouri, you can take Algebra II senior year. Also, I can vouch for XR-7, as I have met him IRL.

Algebra I and Geometry were taken prior because I had issues in Algebra I and wanted a break.  For junior year I wanted Algebra II and I have an A in it after a semester.  I plan on taking pre-calc and trig and the same time next fall.

Thing is, I'm not sure what to consider myself.  My mom held me back a year just so I could be absolutely sure before college that I had everything and then some.  Now she says I can try graduating in December.

By saying all my classes were advanced, I was referring to my homeschool-exclusive classes.  I've maxed out of English (British Lit/Comp), History (British History), Math (teacher only goes up to Algebra II), and Science (teacher isn't that great, makes parents grade most of the work).

Home schooling has potential to make kids much smarter than other people their age. Or it could make you dumb as forget.

What

I was kinda freaky when I was really little.
One of my best friends was too, to a much greater extent. He's gotten kicked out of maybe 3 or 4 schools, and left the one I was at because he kinda humped one of the school's employees.
However, we both turned out socially acceptable.

one of the new teachers at my high school got arrested for sucking students' richards

First day of school was today.

Good news!  I didn't kill anyone!
I also graduated from Prowlers crashing into water heaters.  I upgraded to Mustangs crashing into refrigerators.

Yah, I saw. The new corvette is nice, past 10+ years have sucked.
