Author Topic: Colleges spamming my e-mail  (Read 1388 times)

So apparently, I did really good on the PSAT.  Now a bunch of community colleges are sending me bot e-mails.  Some include:

University of Indianapolis
Carthage (community college in Wisconsin I think)
Murray State University (Kentucky)

This was just a PSAT, I should not have people freaking out, and I can't find the solution online.  What should I do?

can I buy a lamborghini with that PSAT score?

Solution:
Go back in time and do not enter your email on the PSAT
or unsubscribe from the emails.

This happens to all of us

Shouldn't have put your email on the PSAT

you put your email on the PSAT great job

these colleges aren't offering you scholarships OR entry bub, they're just mass sending emails to get people to apply

every college does it

It had a star next to it...

There was another option next to it saying something like "receiving brochures in the mail" and I checked no.

It often denotes a required entry. Depends on the form.

I guess I didn't put my e-mail, because I have a stack of advertisements from dozens of colleges or universities asking to come check them out. Then I ended up going to one half an hour away that hadn't sent me anything before I inquired, lol.

I'm used to it being 'required'.  Maybe I was wrong :/

I just checked my email for the first time in a while and it was filled with stuff like this.

"We see you've taken the PSAT. Clever."
"The sky's the limit with UO"
"You have great potential. Let us help you realize it."

buuuullllllshiiiiittteee

lmfao i christmas treed that stuff

no emails here

So what was your 'really good' PSAT score?

Only like 80% of the nation
