Author Topic: Rain is the best.  (Read 3871 times)

Seriously, it's loving awesome when it's raining. You look outside and the sky is all gray, and the rain is dripping off of leaves and trees. The ground is shiny and cars make a "FWSHHHH" noise as they drive by. Inside it's all cozy and you can hear the rain beating on the roof and it's amazing. Rain washes all the stuff away and makes it smell amazingly-fresh. I love it when it rains constantly for days and the sky is just a solid blanket of foggy clouds. It makes me feel awesome.

I'm voicing this because THIS YEAR IS loving DRY. We have spring weather in the middle of winter and the sun is draining the life from everything. I'm aware that the rest of the country is frozen-solid right now, but when you live in California for as long as I have, you begin to idolize the cold and hate sunny weather.

TL;DR: California sucks at rain and I'm going to move to Oregon or something.

I live in Los Angeles.

And HOLY stuff is it hot.

there's road floods over here right now

i love rain. i used to live in Washington (state) so im used to lots of rain.

Oh my gosh someone who agrees! :D I LOVE the rain!

I love rain. It would be nice if we WEREN'T HAVING A DROUGHT IN JANUARY (california)

I swear it feels like 80+ degrees here

rain is the cure to car sickness
and looks awesome to

Rain is amazing.  Southern Californian here experienced an 80 degree Christmas.

I was thinking of setting up a kind of rain-simulation by putting a few speakers around the room and playing a muffled-rain sound I have through them. Then all I would have to do is find some way to dim the light coming from the window.

Also I'm glad I have followers against sunny California weather.

forget dreary days (i mean rainy)

do you really like it, is it is it wik'd. i'm lovin' it lovin' it lovin' it.

Yeah, I primarily like rain when I can hear it outside and feel how cosy it is inside.

I like warm rain. Cold rain can go forget it's self.
