Author Topic: Unlimited Internet?  (Read 969 times)

I'm assuming the majority of everyone uses unlimited Internet due to having Skype, Steam + game downloads, dedicated hosting, etc.  I've been stuck on limited plans for a while now, and I cannot use anything using much data.  Current plan = 18GB/month.  Any overages and I can bump the monthly data higher for $10/bump (a bump is usually like 2GB), but not very nice on the wallet.  The first plan was 5GB/month, which got bumped several times.

So post your Internet provider and what you would rate it.

comcast 0/10
crashes all the time

What the forget lol, my old ISP did 300/month and we always went over. How do you manage to stay under 18?

but then we got unlimited with higher speeds, forget the police

unlimited for 70 a month

Playing Blockland all day uses 500± megabytes. So I try to stay under that limit every week and we still go over sometimes

XR`s my bro by the way

I can't watch videos, download games, Skype, etc

Still tough to stay under, that's why I want to find a better plan.  My dad is scary when the data is getting close.

Current: 8.948GB/18GB (mostly because I was on a week long vacation earlier this month)
Cycle is in 8-9 days

I can download your entire monthly allotment in half an hour with my internet.
wow

$75 a month and we're limited to 15GB. if we go over, it's an extra $10 for every gb, and it's incredibly throttled
this is why monopolies are so bad

we have charter
perfectly fine, no problems

$40 for unlimited anythings
however since i live in the middle of the forest the speeds are less than perfect (although they're nothing bad)

That's like....really bad.  Not sure on the billing cause my dad covers it, but I think it is like $50/month, with $10/bump (or $15/GB over, which is why we bump).

my dad has charter
but when my mom moved, she had to get satellite internet, because neither of the local cable companies come out here
we're one block away from being able to get cable. one godforsaken block
idk why they can't just run the wires a little further but whatever

There's one hill blocking me from the main tower.  I was totally thrilled when a couple weeks back I saw a new tower going up like 2,500ft from my house.  I looked it up later, and it was a 911 Dispatch Tower -_-
